Sweet gets a little strange with Sugar Rot. Frosted cupcakes, dripping treats, stitched skulls, candy shapes, and tiny pops of turquoise are packed together in layers of pink, raspberry, cream, and warm brown. Look once and it’s all sugar. Look again and things get wonderfully weird.
Sugar Rot takes everything cute and sugary and gives it a darker sense of humor. The Lug Boots give all that color and detail plenty of room to play, while the black accents bring just enough contrast to keep the sweetness from taking over.
